A step-by-step guide — from logging in to your first time on the server. Your progress updates automatically.
Your Discord account is your pass to the server and the player panel. Signing in takes a moment — no separate account or password.
Sign in with DiscordA short form: pick your in-game login and write a few words about yourself. The application goes to the admins.
Admins usually review applications within 24 hours. You'll hear back on Discord — you can also enable push notifications in panel settings.
Once approved, the portal creates your server account. You'll find your login and password in the player panel.
The server runs on the Build 42 beta. In Steam: Project Zomboid → Properties → Betas → select “b42 unstable” and wait for the update. Server mods download automatically on first connect.
Important — RAM: Increase the client memory limit (the -Xms/-Xmx values in ProjectZomboid64.json, e.g. -Xmx4096m). The server runs over 150 mods — on default settings the game may crash. Guide in the FAQ →
In game choose “Join”, enter the server address and log in with your panel credentials — or use quick connect via Steam.
Backup connection
If the main address is down (e.g. after an outage), the server comes up at the backup address — same credentials.
Connection issues?: In the server connect window enable “Steam Relay” — traffic is routed through Steam's network, bypassing NAT or routing issues at your ISP.
